SIA ‘’Rīgas pilsetbūvnieks’’ was founded on 26.03.2002 by Resolution No. 1168 of Riga City Council in order to promote the development of the municipal residential fund, ensure construction and reconstruction of residential houses and other real estates in Riga. SIA ‘’Rīgas pilsētbūvnieks’’ administers and manages totally 63 residential houses in Riga and Greater Riga (including 17 social homes).
At present 40 buildings are connected to the district heating system of JSC „RĪGAS SILTUMS” and 2 more buildings at Aglonas iela 35 k.1 and Ieriķu iela 28 are due to be connected in 2016.
